A private access road suitable for any salon car connects with the house and the nearest villages Apricale and Isolabona are some 5 resp. 15 minutes away.

Apricale is a romantic mountain village in a quiet setting, surrounded by olive groves and woodland. The village has a selection of restaurants offering excellent Ligurian cuisine, a few bars, a food shop, pharmacy and a post office. Throughout the year Apricale plays host to various cultural events, culminating in the August theatre festival. Despite its rural setting, the lively coastal towns Bordighera and Ventimiglia are only 25 minutes down the road. Sanremo and the French towns of Menton, Nice and Monte Carlo are roughly one hour away.
