The country house was originally built in the 1970-ies when the original natural stone house was extended. It underwent a complete overhaul in 2000 and has been constantly updated and modernized ever since. The house is fitted with gas central heating, wooden double glazed windows, natural stone brickwork and terra cotta flooring throughout.

Dolceacqua is a lively village with a good infrastructure. The coastal resorts of Bordighera and Ventimiglia are only a few minutes away and the Côte d’Azur with Menton, Monte Carlo and the international airport in Nice, is less than one hour’s drive away.
